Security Statement

At FML we strictly protect the security of your personal and business information. We protect all stored data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Data Encryption

When you access the FML Website using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, versions 4.0 or higher, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects sensitive information using both server authentication and data encryption. You will notice a small padlock appears in the status bar of your browser to indicate you are using a secure connection (or the URL is https:// - the 's' indicates a secure connection). Double-clicking the icon will give you details about the person or company providing the page you are viewing. These details have been verified by a third party called a Certification Authority (CA). The FML site uses THAWTE to provide you assurance that your data is in safe hands. To verify the security of the site and content please click the THAWTE logo.

What is SSL?

SSL is a protocol designed to provide secure communications on the Internet. SSL does three things:

SSL authenticates that the server you've connected to is the one it purports to be, and not a third party trying to intercept the transaction.
SSL creates a secure communication channel by encrypting all communication between you and the server.
SSL conducts a cryptographic word count to ensure data integrity between the server and the user. If a message is not received in its entirety, it is rejected and another copy of the message is sent automatically.
